The Essex County Council Replacement Minerals Local Plan Review –is undergoing a six-week public consultation, during which time Essex County Council are inviting comments. There is a possibility that this will affect our area – Stapleford Abbotts as well as the neighbouring parishes - as Patch Park near Abridge is named as a possible site for gravel extraction.
